Chelsea has left Serb Nemanja Matic and Diego Costa from Spain out of their preseason tour sparking rumours that the pair will leave the club.
Chelsea first signed Matic from Partizan Belgrade before he was sold in 2011. The Serbian was rebought back to the club in 2014 and has been a key figure to Chelsea winning the Premier League twice in the last three seasons.
Diego Costa joined Chelsea from Spanish side, Atletico Madrid and has helped the club since joining in 2014.
Chelsea is to leave for China and ahead of the trip on Monday, the pair has been excused from the tour.
Matic, 27 and Costa, 28 have been linked with Manchester United and Atletico Madrid respectively despite the Spanish side under transfer ban.
Chelsea is also reported close to signing French Tiemoue Bakayoko sparking that Matic will leave the club. It is believed that the 22-year-old will complete his move to the Premier League champions in the next few days.
