Asamoah Gyan’s AstroTurf will be used for the first time on Saturday August 5.
The school will be marking a 17th Home Coming and as part of the activities for the event, a football tournament has been scheduled and will take place at the Asamoah Gyan Sports Centre.
Asamoah Gyan who indicated that he has spent over $3m in philanthropic events built the AstroTurf for his alma mater in a cost of US$200,000.
The phase one of the project was recently commissioned and the next phases will include a tartan track for athletics, dressing rooms, a fence wall, toilet facilities and Flood lights as part of ensuring that the school he completed have what it takes to nurture talents.
