Ghana and Sweden-born international, Kingsley Sarfo has revealed that former AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic was behind his move to Malmo FF in Sweden.
Kingsley Sarfo joined Malmo FF from IK Sirius on a four-and-a-half-year-deal despite being linked with Manchester City and has revealed who was behind his move.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic started his player career at Malmo FF and had had a blistering career spanning for more than a decade.
Sarfo, 21, who have been thwarting by Sweden and Ghana to play for their national teams told Silver FM, a local based radio station that the Swedish striker played a crucial role in his decision to join the Swedish champions.
He said; ”I can reveal to you that Zlatan Ibrahimovic played a key role in my transfer move to Malmo FF”.
”Even though we never spoke to each other, but he had a great influence on the move as he did not openly involved himself in the negotiations”, the 21 added.
”Zlatan is superstar in Sweden. I am fortunate to be one of the outfield players in the Allsvenkan that put on his apparels for advertisement”, he continued,
”And so through this, he has really played a crucial role in my transfer move to Malmo this season. As I am speaking with you right now, I have even brought some of his kits in Ghana”, Sarfo indicated.
