Premier League new entrants Brighton and Hove Albion has signed Davy Propper from PSV Eindhoven.
Brighton is reported to have signed the Dutch midfielder for £6m breaking the club’s transfer record.
They have tied the Dutch to a four-year deal and the 25 year old will join his teammates as they begin the 2017/2018 PL season with a showdown against Manchester City.
After signing Propper, manager of Brighton Chris Hughton said; “He is a strong competitor”.
“There is no doubting his pedigree. Davy has played a number of matches in the Champions League for PSV as well as international football for the Netherlands”, added Hughton.
“He will complement our existing midfield players, and he is also a really good age”.
