The Appeals Committee of the Ghana Football Association has dismissed the appeal filed by Accra Hearts of Oak in relation to the Disciplinary Committee (DC) ruling against the club for breaching Monthly awards.
The GFA entered into an agreement with NASCO on behalf of the GPL clubs to enable outstanding players and coaches being awarded.
But Hearts of Oak also sought their own sponsorship which according to the GFA was in breach of their statuses.
The GFA DC held them liable and fined them GHc10,000.00 which Hearts of Oak disagreed with the ruling on the ground that the decision was not only unfair but has no grounds hence filing a case with the Appeals Committee.
The Appeals Committee after its meeting today has dismissed the case filed by the appellant Hearts of Oak meaning Hearts must pay the fine imposed on them by the DC.
