The Head of communications for Kumasi Asante Kotoko Obed Acheampong has confirmed to FOX 97.9 FM that the club would officially serve Nana Oduro Sarfo with a letter, demanding for evidence of the alleged bribery allegations and or an apology to Kotoko.
Asante Kotoko on Saturday released a statement on their web site following an emergency management meeting, denying any wrong doing and further demanding an official apology from Oduro Sarfo within “72-hours or face the due legal consequences”.
” The management met on Friday (December 5) to take decisions on the misguided statement of Oduro Sarfo “, Obed told FOX FM. ” He has up to 72- hours (Monday December 8) to either provide evidence of the alleged bribery allegations and or apologise to Kotoko “, Obed revealed.
According to Obed, the allegations made by Oduro Sarfo have mercilessly caused unwarranted damage to the hard earned corporate image of Asante Kotoko, and are therefore ready to pursue the matter till they are fully cleared.
Obed further assured the followers of Asante Kotoko to disregard all those bribery allegations made by Oduro Sarfo and be assured that the club management would work hard to restore the image of their beloved crest.
