Coach Frank Nuttall is reportedly sacked by his club Accra Hearts of Oak for insubordination towards the management of the club. The Scotish manager is also said to have influenced key players in the club to abandon the club to seek other opportunities elsewhere.
A three member committee was set up by the Board of Directors to look into the recent quarrels that have arisen between Nuttall and his players as well as some members of his technical team. The committee was made of Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe, Mr. Frank Nelson and Mrs. Ivy Howard- Mills.
According to our sources close to the team, the committee’s report which was submitted on Friday recommended that Nuttall be shown the exit door.
The former Gor Mahia coach had been suspended by the club’s board after he was accused of advising players not to renew their expiring contract.
Nuttall was pin-pointed as the brain behind the exits of Thomas Abbey, Vincent Atingah, Kwame Kizito and Leonard Tawiah. Defender Robin Gnagne is also said to have left the club to seek a deal abroad due to the coach’s influence.
Also, it has been alleged that he advised some of the players abandon their agents to sign for NM Football Consultancy owned by his fellow countryman Neil Murray.
NM Football Consultancy on Tuesday announced the signing of star man Winful Cobbinah but later deleted the Tweet.
The Scotish however admitted his guilt when he was questioned at a board meeting last Monday when confronted with the evidence.
Nuttall led the phobian club to place second in the MTN FA Cup after loosing to eternal rivals Asante Kotoko 3-1 in the final which was played in Tamale.
