Ghana’s League defending Champions Aduana Stars have been given another opportunity to impress in Africa after they were drawn with Madagascan side Fosa Juniors for the 2018 CAF confederation Cup playoffs.
The Dormaa lads failed to progress into the last eight of the CAF Champions League where they suffered a 1-4 humiliation and elimination at the hands of Algerian side ES Setif.
The was conducted at the headquarters of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in Cairo on Wednesday.
The Ghanaian champions will host Fosa in the first leg of the knockout at the Nana Agyeman Badu II Park in Dormaa Ahenkro on 7 April. The return leg would be played after ten days in Boeny on 17 April.
Fosa Juniors eliminated AFC Leopards and Mauritian side AS Port-Louis 2000 in the previous qualifying rounds.
The winner of the two-legged tie will advance to the Group stage of the Confederation Cup.
