Liberty Professionals were able to break their five matches winless streak when they pipped Karela FC by a lone goal.
At the Tarkwa Na Booso Park, Medeama FC ensured all three points were kept safe when they beat Dreams FC 2-0.
Wa All Stars also fought for a point with WAFA FC. The match ended in a 1-1 draw as Referee Adu Poku became the centre of controversy.
At the Cape Coast Stadium, Emmanuel Gyamfi ensured there was a win for Kumasi Asante Kotoko when they played host to Berekum FC. Kotoko had lost their last two matches amidst much tension in and around the team.
