The Week 12 matches of the Ghana Premier League were played this past weekend with that of Aduana and Hearts of Oak been outstanding. Aduana Stars were away in Abidjan playing in the CAF Confederation’s Cup 2018.
League leaders Ashantigold SC were able to obtain a point at Elmina when they played Elmina Sharks on Saturday.
Liberty Professionals were able to break their five matches winless streak when they pipped Karela FC by a lone goal.
At the Tarkwa Na Booso Park, Medeama FC ensured all three points were kept safe when they beat Dreams FC 2-0.
Wa All Stars also fought for a point with WAFA FC. The match ended in a 1-1 draw as Referee Adu Poku became the centre of controversy.
At the Cape Coast Stadium, Emmanuel Gyamfi ensured there was a win for Kumasi Asante Kotoko when they played host to Berekum FC. Kotoko had lost their last two matches amidst much tension in and around the team.
But Gyamfi’s goal was enough to calm the hot waters.
