Regional Football Chairmen told to return to post

The Normalization Committee of Ghana Football has directed the various Chairmen of the Regional Football Associations to commence work.

The Normalization Committee has therefore given the green light to all those who were not found on tape in the Number 14 Video released by Tiger Eye to return to post respectively.

Mr. Osei Tutu Agyemang, RFA Chairman for Ashanti Region was seen representing The NC at the Kumasi Sports Stadium in the CAF U 23 qualifier between Ghana and Togo. He also went on to represent them when Kotoko took Kariobangi Sharks in the CAF Confederations Cup 2018/19.

It would be recalled that the regional football heads were all put to ice due to the Anas Football Expose that caused instability in Ghana Football.

Former President of the Ghana Football Association, Mr. Kwesi Nyantakyi was found on tape collecting an amount of $65,000.00 in negotiation for investment on the said video. He was accompanied by Mr. Ahmed Abu, former Chairman of the Northern Regional Football Association

Other officials of the Football Association like Mr Eddie Doku who was the Chairman of the Greater Accra Regional Football and Mr Kofi Manu were all found taking sums of money for various reasons.

The Central Regional Football Association would have to get an acting RFA Chairman because of the demise of Mr. MNS Doe. He passed away in the last quarter of 2018 and has since been buried.
