John Boye returns to partner Joseph Aidoo in Stars crucial game against Bissau

Black Stars defender John Boys returns from suspension as Ghana faces Guinea Bissau in their last Group F match in the African Cup of Nations, Egypt 2019.

Ghana takes on Guinea Bissau at 16:00 GMT today at the Suez Sports Stadium.

The Turkish based defender has been named in the starting line up as Ghana plays their West African counterparts at Suez.

Boys was given the marching orders after he received his second yellow card in Ghana’s first game against Benin.

Unfortunately the two central defenders who played in the last game against Cameroon are all missing out.

Jonathan Mensah could not pass the late fitness test to enter the squad after he sustained injury in the Cameroon game. His compatriot, Kassim Nuhu Adams is also serving suspension with yellow cards accumulation.

Meanwhile Joseph Aidoo is set to earn his first ever appearance for the Stars as he is billed to partner John Boys at the back.

Juventus left back Kwadwo Asamoah has been relegated to the bench again in favour of Kwabena Owusu.

General Captain, Asamoah Gyan could still not enter the first eleven after getting some minutes in the last game against Cameroon.

Ghana lies second with two points from two games and would need a win to cement their stay in the competition.
