The Board Chairman of Medeama FC, Dr. Anthony Aubynn has been elected with four others to serve represent Premier League on the Executive Council of Ghana Football Association.

Mr. Aubynn had majority of the votes to lead the pack convincingly as he was also joined by, Frederick Acheampong of Ashanti Gold SC,Kotoko’s George Amoako, Nana Oduro Sarfo of Berekum Chelsea and Kingsley Osei of Bechem United.

Dr Anthony Aubynn won the elections with 14 votes, Frederick Acheampong came second with 11 votes, George Amoako and Kingsley Osei Bonsu were third with 10 votes as Nana Oduro Sarfo picked the fifth position after earning nine votes.

Hearts of Oak General Manager, Frederick Moore has eight votes and Albert Commey of Aduana had seven votes to place sixth and seventh respectively.

Dr. Toni Aubynn has over 20 years experience in both the solid minerals and the hydro-carbon sectors. He is currently the Founder and President of the Africa Institute of Extractives Industry (AIEI), an extractive industries Think-tank.
