Inter Milan left back, Kwadwo Asamoah has donated Twenty Thousand US Dollars(US$20,000) to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi.
The Black Stars player did his contribution to fight the deadly virus through his father.
A dummy cheque was presented to the Chief Executive Officer of the hospital at the Accident and Emergency Centre today, April 14, 2020.
Asamoah emphasized on the need to assist the hospital in Kumasi where he grew up and also affirmed his support to the health sector in their quest to conquer the corona virus pandemic.
The former Juventus full back joins the likes of Asamoah Gyan and Andre Dede Ayew who have also made various donations to fight the pandemic.
Kwadwo is set to leave Inter at the end of the current season. The season has been halted because of the virus infections with Italy being one of the hardly hit countries.
