The Board of Management for Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club has confirmed Nana Yaw Owusu as the club’s new Chief Executive Officer.
Nana Yaw was outdoored at the Sports Hotel in Kumasi earlier today in a colourful ceremony. The event was well attended as almost all the stakeholders of the club were present; old players, technical team and supporters were all present to witness the presentation of the new CEO to the public.
He is tasked to help materialize the goals and visions of the recently formed Board. But his job is due to last three years and is expected to help bring back the club to its stardom in Africa football.
The former Phar Ranges boss has also been tasked with the immediate assignment to ensure the project at Adako Jachie becomes a reality.
Nana Yaw is also expected to secure sponsorship for the club in the coming days and then ensure the supporters of the club are registered.
Speaking at his unveiling, Nana Yaw promised to ensure that Kotoko consistently qualify for the FIFA World Club Championship.
He takes over from Mr. George Amoako who left for Kingfaisal FC.
