Other local players who have been given a chance to play for the team are Abdul Ganyiu of Asante Kotoko and Philemon Baffour of Dreams FC. Surprisingly, Steadfast FC’s Isshaku Fatawu has been given a call irrespective of his club being in Division One.

Captain Andre Dede Ayew will lead the team to play against Ethiopia on September 3rd, 2021 at Cape Coast Stadium and then face South Africa at Johannesburg’s FNB Stadium on September, 6th.
