He is reported to have completed Senior High School Bekwai Wesley High School in 2016 before enrolling at Prempeh College. Thomas is the captain of the Prempeh College team.
The ‘Amanfo’ Boys beat Asare Bediako SHS by a lone goal on Wednesday to advance to the next stage of the knockout phase in the competition.
Asare Bediako indicated that Thomas had exhausted all the three years opportunity to play in the competition after entering Wesley High School in 2013. He featured for them from 2013 to 2016 making him ineligible to play for any other school.
Prempeh also argued that the said student was placed at the school by the Computerized School Placement system (CSSPS). The Committee also find Prempeh GHs 700 for the use of the ineligible player. They further recommended for the rules guiding the tournament to be reviwed to cater for the Computer Placement System
Asare Bediako would therefore advance to face Tweneboah Kodua SHS in the round of 16.
